Rev. Dr. Lily Godsoe is a sacred companion and clinically trained spiritual care provider whose ministry lives where the human and the holy meet — at the crossroads of psychology, spirituality, and Divine Feminine wisdom. With more than 30 years of lived experience in recovery, Lily brings both clinical skill and soul-deep empathy to her work with others.

Through psychospiritual counseling, sacred ritual, and contemplative practice, she helps women heal from addiction, trauma, and spiritual disconnection — guiding them to remember their inherent worth, embodied power, and sacred wholeness. Her work is both deeply spiritual and profoundly practical, grounded in presence, compassion, and transformative care.

As a Spiritual Director and mentor in the Feminine Path of Power, Lily supports women in awakening their intuitive knowing, reclaiming their spiritual authority, and cultivating an intimate relationship with the Divine within. She also teaches in interfaith and spiritual formation programs, where she shares the art and craft of compassionate, embodied spiritual care.

In her private practice, Lily weaves together spiritual direction and recovery-informed care to hold space for deep healing and soulful transformation. She is especially gifted in bereavement and grief support, accompanying individuals and families through seasons of loss with tenderness, wisdom, and reverence for the mystery of life and death.

Lily’s call to service was awakened in 2008 through her volunteer work with the Zen Hospice Project, where she discovered the sacred privilege of being present at the thresholds of life and loss. Over the decade that followed, she served as an interfaith clinical chaplain, attending to those in transition — the dying, the grieving, and all who seek meaning in the midst of change.

Today, Lily’s ministry continues to bridge the worlds of clinical chaplaincy and spiritual transformation, honoring the passages of healing, grief, and awakening with equal parts skill, compassion, and grace. Her life’s work is a devotion to the truth that every soul is whole, beloved, and profoundly sacred.
